We don’t have a physical office or any paid staff members. That’s one of the strengths of this all-volunteer charity. Donations you make go directly towards our children’s programs.

Where will your money go?

We are so proud of our limited operating expenses. In the world of non-profits, our donation-to-programs ratio is tremendous. Our only major expenses are a post office box, a voice mail line, printing and postage. If you give to Summer Santa, you know for certain that your money is going directly to fund our wonderful children’s programs.

We recently performed an internal audit to determine our internal costs for one recent year — and the results were stunning:

  • COST OF OFFICE SPACE: $0
  • COST OF GALA EVENTS: $0
  • COST OF SENDING CHILDREN TO CAMP: $52,412
  • COST OF BACK-TO-SCHOOL CLOTHING: $9,917
  • ADMINISTRATION: $809
  • INSURANCE & ACCOUNTING: $3,081
  • TOY DRIVE EXPENSES: $1,940
  • CAMP ADMINISTRATION EXPENSES: $781
  • FUNDRAISER EXPENSES FOR TWO MAJOR EVENTS: $8,019

Bottom line: When you give to Summer Santa, you are giving to children’s programs and nothing else!
